Overview
With the HTML Editor you can change your HTML documents without leaving cPanel's File Manager interface (cPanel » Home » Files » File Manager). It is a visual WYSIWYG editor whose formatting tools will feel familiar if you have used desktop programs such as Microsoft® Word.
It is built on Jodit. Further details are in Jodit's documentation.
Important:
JavaScript is not supported here, so anything that depends on it may look or behave differently in this editor than on your live website.
Toolbar
The toolbar of the HTML Editor contains these tools:

Paint format | Copies the formatting of one piece of text onto another. |

Font family | Chooses the typeface of the selected text. |

Font size | Chooses the size of the selected text. |

Fill color or set the text color | Chooses the background or text color of the selection. |

Insert format block | Applies a block format to the selected text. |
 |
Line height | Sets the spacing of the current line. |
 |
Insert Unordered List | Starts a bulleted list. |
 |
Insert Ordered List | Starts a numbered list. |
 |
Insert Horizontal Line | Adds a horizontal rule. |
 |
Align Left | Lines the selected text up with the left margin. |
 |
Align Center | Centers the selected text on the page. |
 |
Align Right | Lines the selected text up with the right margin. |
 |
Align Justify | Justifies the selected text. |

Increase Indent | Moves the selected text further in. |

Decrease Indent | Moves the selected text back out. |

Undo | Reverts your last change. |
 |
Redo | Applies the change you just reverted. |

Cut selection | Removes the selected text and keeps it on the clipboard. |

Copy selection | Copies the selected text to the clipboard. |

Paste from clipboard | Inserts the text you copied or cut. |
 |
Insert Image | Uploads an image from your computer, or inserts one from an existing web page. |

Insert youtube/vimeo video | Embeds a YouTube™ or Vimeo video. |

Insert file | Adds a file taken from an existing web page. |
 |
Insert table | Adds a table. |
 |
Insert link | Adds a link pointing to an existing web page. |
 |
Unlink | Takes away a link to an existing web page. |
 |
superscript | Raises the text, like Superscript. |
 |
subscript | Lowers the text, like Subscript. |
 |
Find | Searches for text and can replace it. |
 |
Change mode | Toggles between the HTML source view and the WYSIWYG view. |

Select all | Selects everything on the page. |
